Ecowebbing, sustainable webbings<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The dyeing process is one of the most polluting processes for the environment, in textile production.<\/span><\/span> Thanks to mass tint, we can reduce the use of chemicals, energy, C02 emissions and water consumption in polyester and polypropylene fibers.<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

More and more society is aware in the sustainability of the products, but you also have to take into account the production process that has been used to obtain and treat them.<\/p>\n

It is a mistake, to think that a product because it is of plant origin, is more sustainable than another synthetic.<\/span><\/span> For example, there are many people who do not know that behind conventional cotton, there is a highly polluting and harmful process for the environment and society.<\/span><\/span> The cultivation of cotton is a source of pollution for groundwater and superficial waters, thanks to the excesses of the chemical fertilizer.<\/span><\/span> In addition, used insecticides have been especially declared problematic for human health by WHO itself.<\/span><\/span> And finally, the use of chemicals and the waste of water to dye the tissues, is the culmination of the process.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A product that is sustainable also implies that all its footprint is.<\/span><\/span> We must take into account the history of processes behind, either in obtaining raw materials or their development, until you reach the final product.<\/span><\/span> One of the most unknown aspects is the tissue of tissues and their great impact on the environment.<\/span><\/span> Either because of the expense of millions of liters of water to dye the tissues, which leaves 75% of the remaining water as a non -potable toxic residue, until the use of chemicals, alkaline and heavy metals to fix the color to the tissue.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From Industrias Ponsa we are raising a more respectful and sustainable solution to dye the tissues, dough tied.<\/span><\/span> It is a great saving in water consumption, reducing CO2 emissions, waste and pollutant chemical agents.<\/span><\/span> The process binds by fusion the polymers and the color pigment, achieving the tinted raw material for the subsequent manufacture of thread and tissue.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This is the result of a long career and with about 200 years of experience in the textile sector, where we have been optimizing all productive processes, thus minimizing the environmental impact.<\/span><\/span> From the use of recycled, biodegradable and compostable materials for manufacturing, to investment in photovoltaic and wind plants to work with clean energy.<\/span><\/span> Our commitment to the environment is total and was already certified in 2018 with the obtaining of ISO 14001. today, we use 100% energies from renewable natural resources, and supposes us a saving of 700 tn of CO2\/per year.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
